Hi!
I'm new here but not to Austin and I'm looking for local shops in the Austin area that carry Belly Dancing supplies, etc. One shop that I knew of is no longer there, it's something else. I know of many places on the web, but if I can support the local community instead, I'd rather do that. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Oh also information on places that have belly dance performances, upcoming events in the area and so forth..
This is my year to be more active than passive in something I have admired from afar for way to long. :)

there is a yahoo group where dance happenings, classes and such are posted: groups.yahoo.com/group/abd-announce/
also this site has a list of local instructors: www.abda.org
All you really need to get started are some comfy pants and a tank top! and maybe some finger cymbals! -
