Here is information for an upcoming 5-week tribal fusion style bellydance class series starting March 12, 2009 - April 9, 2009 Thursdays 7:45-8:45 PM at Cafe Dance, located at 3307 B Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas 78731 (near the intersection of Balcones Drive and Hancock Drive, next to Russell's Bakery and Coffee Bar) Description Each class will begin with yoga-based warm-up to stretch, strengthen, and align our bodies for dancing. Class topics will range from basic movements to technique (hip articulations and abdominal isolations) to stylization. Choreography will be taught to help bring the concepts together. All levels are welcome. Attire Wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch and move in. Anything you would wear to a Yoga class would be appropriate. Please, no coined hip scarves. Bare feet only. Cost For the 5 weeks: $60. Registration and payment for the class prior to the series is mandatory. (Lily holds the right to cancel the series if there are not enough registrants.)
