OMG WHAT A GREAT NIGHT!!!!
I met some of the most fun and exciting dancers, every one of them a gem.....supportive, beautiful, and so vibrant!!! The San Antonio dance community is alive and well, and growing by leaps and bounds! For those that didn't make it out to the hafla, you missed a really fun and 'comfy' show!
As for me.......I did great!!! I was nervous, of course, and got the jitters right before it was my turn, and then......I just got out there and had fun! I had a few tiny lil bloops, but according to the girls who watched no one could really tell. Phew!!! I heard lots of clapping and whoooping, the song was on and poppin', and when all was said and done, I left the stage area with a great big smile on my face. I'm sooooo glad I got to dance, thank you Anaid!!!
I am so there for the next hafla.....they are so much fun!!!

And there were so many professional ladies that had only good things to say about your Bollywood piece. Apparently I was one of the few that did not know all the lyrics to the song, hee hee! The important thing about last night was that you had fun. And you helped make last night possible for us. I look foward to dancing with you again, Su.

I have a feeling it might end up there, as my husband did tape my performance. I'll ask him if he can finagle it onto the computer....
Easier from here on out?? Gosh I hope so!! lol Although, now that I've done it, I am already looking to finish my dance that Stacey Lizette was helping me create......now THAT dance has some sass!!!
Anaid, you know you can drag my happy butt just about anywhere hehe. I really did have a great time, and I am eagerly looking forward to the next one :) Talk about being inspired, tho.....seeing you and the other girls jumpstarted my inner spark!!! Now I want to dance and dance some more! Hmm, maybe I need to weave some more cowrie tassels for Ebay so I can take lessons again.....
